Two months.
two months until im colorado bound. for a week at least.

im beyond ready for this vacation...i cannot wait to get out of iowa again. its a fun-sucker here. all i do is worry about school, work, life in general. i need breaks here and there to remind me there is still enjoyment left.
even though i am mentally ready for colorado, im not physically comfortable with myself to be in a bikini i guess you could say.
so here's my goal.
eat clean. for these next two months.
i will abide by jackie warner's rules because i basically eat like this anyway, but it will help me actually follow something.
and i like the fact that she says to drink tea every night. maybe ill actually listen and do it. tea is good for the soul. and would help me not snack so much at night.
so heres the plan:
eat four 4 oz servings of "Detox proteins" a day. this will include....
basically any kind of fish, lean poultry, lean meats (this area won't be difficult for me...being i only eat chicken and fish)
low-fat dairy foods: greek yogurt, low-cal cheeses, low-fat cottage cheese, almond milk, low-fat ricotta cheese
eggs
beans & other legumes
whey protein
detox carbohydrates:
3 cups of vegetables, 2 whole fruits, two 1 cup servings of whole grains
detox fats:
2 tablespoons of clean oils, nut butters or nuts/seeds and 1/4 avocado
selections: almonds, almond butter, avocado, brazil nuts, butter, flax, hazelnuts, olive oil, pb, pecans, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, walnut oil
she also recommends drinking 3 liters of water daily, particularly with lemon juice
today so far...
breakfast: 1/3 cup oats, 1 tbsp nut butter, 1 cup almond milk, 1/2 banana
24 oz water (1 liter)
2 cups black coffee
morning snack: 1 pear
1/3 cup grains
1/3 fat serving
1 protein serving
1.5 fruit serving
i will update throughout the day :)
